Carlos Chaquieras

Set in the Andes above Machu pichu, the gracious city of Cuzco looms over the ancient homeland of the Incas. The descendants of the Spanish explorers and Peruvian natives still inhabit the cobblestone streets, and mine, design, and work sterling silver into amazing jewelry creations.

The Artists at Carlos Chaquieras take local stones and shells, ancient themes and stories, as well as familiar landmarks as their inspiration. Inlaid Spoldelus shell, turquoise, amber, and woven textiles combine with hammered silver for a look of imagination and flare. Ethnic beauty and old world sophistication combine in harmony to create a fresh and charming style.
